Stagepoint Studio
Home Education Theatre Programme
Based in Shildon, supporting home-educated children and families across County Durham.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
Creative Learning for Every Child
Our Home Education Drama Classes in County Durham offer structured, creative learning for home-educated children through theatre, storytelling, and collaborative play. Blending theatre skills, creative projects, ensemble work, and confidence-building activities. It provides a focused, welcoming space where learners can explore ideas, grow socially, and express themselves freely.
Sessions are structured, inclusive, and paced to support a wide range of learning needs, including SEND learners, shy children, and those who thrive in hands-on, imaginative environments.
Learners leave each term having built new skills, formed friendships, and created original work they can be proud of.
These sessions form part of our wider acting programme for families across County Durham, designed to support confidence and creativity at every stage.
